Fall into Fall Fashion with @OriginalApparel: "A Girl Can Never have too Much Plaid...or cardig

This year was a big year for me because I decided to take the big step of pursuing my music and released my first EP album titled CONNECTIONS. This title resonates with me because it isn't just a title but rather a goal. CONNECTIONS is about making connections with the people who listen to my music and lyrics and having them relate to the issues that we all face in today's world. CONNECTIONS is also a GOAL for me to fully put myself in the public eye, not be afraid to network and "connect" with new people, new businesses and new friends! This blog mirrors just that because through CONNECTIONS with a mutual friend @danikaeatstea, I met Miriam who is the beautiful owner at Original Apparel Whyte and could not resist collaboration because of our common love for quality, high end, unique and highly affordable women's fashion! A true hidden gem located on the not so hidden gem location of Whyte Avenue and 104st! This week's fashion post will feature a piece that immediately caught my eye when I went to Miriam's store to meet her!

Plaid is already a trending print seen in both men and women's fall fashion but this piece has a few more extra features that I have yet to see! Let me break it down for you!

6) The last one in store that I purchased was a LARGE size but as you will see I am not drowning in the cardigan. It has a rather slimmer fit but fans out quite extensively which I LOVE because it acts like a blanket when our Alberta winds blow through.

I chose to wear this with of course my ripped jeans, sweater and a pair of sneakers for a casual and comfortable look but could easily be dressed up with leather pants and stiletto pumps for a girl's night out outfit! This plaid sleeveless cardigan was only $59! This could have easily been sold for $130 to start anywhere else! The material is strong and will last a lifetime!
